Happy New Year From the Luhr's

So already in the new year we have started out with an injury. Brian got his big toe injured at work by a pallet falling on his toe. It scattered and he's now off of work for four days. It's nice to have him at home but not in that capacity. He's on pain meds and wishes he could function like a normal person but that will come in time. Just to give everyone an idea of the pain he's in I will attach a "G" rated picture of his toe. Don't worry it's wrapped. But I have pictures of it unwrapped if interested. LOL. Poor guy I feel so bad for him.

For Audrey's 5th Birthday she got to go to the Jonas Brother's concert. She love's the Jonas Brothers. Most of this pictures were taken by her at the concert. We had a blast.

Newest Member of the Family

Here is the newest member of the family Neeko. He's a good cat, lazy but good. He and Daisy are best friends. The kids love him, even though you couldn't tell in this picture.

Audrey donated 12" to locks of love. I thought that she would have a hard time with the hair loss but she was so excited to donate it and loved the new short "do."

Audrey and Breck

We like to go to the Henry Doorly Zoo and even though they look quite calm, Audrey and Breck are very scared to be standing in front of the bats in the Kingdom of the Night Exhibit. Audrey was eating goldfish crackers and the orangtan wanted Audrey's crackers. Then he started imitating her. She thought it was pretty funny.

Vacation

Brian and I spent a weekend at Calamus dam. We were actually suppose to venture to Colorado and just decided along the way that camping at Calamus would be just fine. On our venture we went canoeing down the Niabara up North. It is beautiful up there. We saw Smiths Falls-Nebraska's largest waterfall (I didn't even know we had one). Anyways here are a few pictures of the waterfall and manly Brian canoeing.

Audrey's Birthday

For Audrey's 4th B-day she decided she wanted to eat the Amazing Pizza Machine. It's combination of Chuck E Cheese and Champions. They had a really fun. Audrey's favorite thing to do there is bowling. Her favorite ride is the Frog Hopper. She convinced her dad to ride it with her. Trust me it didn't take too much convincing.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

Audrey and Breck enjoy some sparklers on the 4th. This was my first day back in Nebraska from a military school they were both so excited to get to see their mom again. I got in a little late but they were troopers and stayed awake long enough to get through the fireworks.

Audrey and Breck sure love popicles. Breck has the concept of eating them figured out quite nicely for a 1 year old.

This is Audrey and Breck at an Easter Hunt here in Gretna. This is Breck's first Easter, he was so tired but he did really good.

Welcome

Ok so we decided that this blog thing was a good idea (thanks Lisa for the introduction). I had never even seen until our friends moved to Colorado and started one. Then we had another couple start and we figured it's a good way to keep everyone up to date without having to call utilize a calling tree to get information out. Bare with us we'll get the hang of it. I basically wanted to get the word out that we were starting one. We'll will let you know when it's updated.
